Welcome to the Orthopaedic Practice of Dr Johan de Beer.  This practice focus on improving pain and restoring function of damaged major joints in elderly patients.  These joints include the hip, knee and shoulder joints.

Through cutting edge technology combined with years of experience in the field of joint care, we strive to improve quality of life.

More about Dr. de Beer

Doctor de Beer completed his master’s degree in Orthopaedics (MMED Ortho) in 1996 at the University of Pretoria.  In 1997 he obtained the College of Surgeons of South Africa degree in Orthopaedics.  

Through 1998 and 1999 he furthered his Orthopaedic studies at the Royal Infirmary Hospital Glasgow, Scotland focussing on lower limb reconstruction.  Doctor de Beer returned to South Africa in the year 2000.

From the year 2000 until 2006 he was a member of the Faculty of the Pretoria Academic Hospital Arthroplasty Unit.  From 2000 until now he is in private practice and a part time consultant at One Military Hospital.
